Brushing

Brushing: An Introduction

In brushing, abrasive belts are used to make aesthetic traces on a material’s surface. Despite being suitable for a handful of metals, brushing is most commonly used on aluminum. The thickness of the abrasive belts (usually between #80 and 120) determines the finish.
